Overview

FC-F20L provides superior dispersing power compared to conventional dispersant and it is a .highly effective dispersant in cement slurries to improve the flow properties of the slurry, reduce hydraulic horsepower requirements, and allow removal of the mixing water resulting in a more dense cement slurry.

FC-F20L is a type of polycarboxylic acid dispersant. It can adsorb on the surface of cement particles to achieving the purpose of significantly reducing the consistency of cement slurry and improving the rheological properties of cement slurry through the electrostatic repulsion between the same ions. The thickening time of cement slurry will be prolonged with the increase of dosage.

About This Item

Dispersants, also called dispersing agents, are chemical agents used to break up oil into smaller droplets in the water column. Dispersants can be applied on surface oil or below the surface, closer to an uncontrolled release of crude oil from a well blowout source.

Dispersant

Dispersants, also known as friction reducers, are used extensively in cement slurries to improve the rheological properties that relate to the flow behavior of the slurry. It is generally agreed that the dispersants minimize or prevent flocculation of cement particles, because the dispersant adsorbs onto the hydration cement particle, causing the particle surfaces to be negatively charged and repel each other. Water that otherwise would have been entrained in the flocculated system also becomes available to further lubricate the slurry.
