Overview

Spacer additive, which can remove drilling fluid effectively, is able to prevent cement slurry from blending with it. Has thickening effect on cement slurry under certain conditions, therefore, appropriate amount of chemical inert spacing agents should be applied to separate from the cement slurry. Fresh water or mixing water can be applied as chemical inert spacing agent.

• FC-S60S is a high temperature resistant spacer, which is compounded by a variety of temperature resistant polymers.
• FC-S60S has strong suspension and good compatibility. It can effectively isolate drilling fluid and cement slurry when replacing drilling fluid, and prevent production of mixed slurry between drilling fluid and cement slurry.
• FC-S60S has a wide weighting range (from 1.0g/cm3 to 2.2g/cm3). The upper and lower density difference is lees than 0.10g/cm3 after the spacer is still for 24 hours.

About This Item

The spacer is prepared with specific fluid characteristics, such as viscosity and density, that are engineered to displace the drilling fluid while enabling placement of complete cement sheath. FC-S60S is a value-added materials which are customer-focused and solution-driven, respecting all specifications, environmental regulations and the strictest quality assurance criteria.

Spacer

A spacer is a fluid used to separate drilling fluids and cementing slurries. A spacer can be designed for use with either water-based or oil-based drilling fluids, and prepares both pipe and formation for the cementing operation. Spacers are typically densified with insoluble-solid weighting agents. Has thickening effect on cement slurry under certain conditions, therefore, appropriate amount of chemical inert spacing agents should be applied to separate from the cement slurry.
